Summer Time Fun
I can't believe summer is almost over. First I have to say I love my husband very much. He has spoiled me this summer by letting me stay home and take care of him. I feel very blessed to be able to spend more time with him. The first of June we went down to Black Hawk Colorado it's located by old mining towns. James and I are history nerds and we really enjoy seeing old mining towns. We often think what life would have been like during those times. Even though it would have been very hard, but what an adventure.

Finished with school
James and I are finished school until the fall. We are looking forward to the summer if we ever have one here in Cheyenne. We are getting ready to go home for a few days can't wait. When someone has crossed the line do you say something or do you just pretend and let it go on. I believe there is a difference between being nice and being obsessed with things. I think that we sometimes get caught up in things that we don't mean to, but our thoughts are so cloudy we can not think clearly. Sometimes in life we just need to let things go and move on.

I love this picture
I only have a few pictures of my dad and mom. They look amazing in this picture.
My Mom
I have been thinking about this all week. On Monday May 9Th it was 20 years since my mom passed away and went to heaven. Normally I am a private person, but feel like I should share this with who would like to read it. I can remember things from when I was little and I can remember her. I remember her taking us to Lagoon to clog with Cynthia Gunn. I remember our holidays because the house was always decorated. I remember coming home and seeing the new trampoline with the purple ribbons on it, because purple was her favorite color. This picture was taken the night of my baptism and I know she was so happy that night. The best was going to Dean's Cafe and eating chicken strips and ranch with my sister, mom, and Cynthia. I love you mom and please take care of my friends and family that are with you in heaven. I know I will see you again one day.

The Boys
I found this so funny the other night I have to blog about it. Since we have moved here James, Brody, and Kelly talk on the phone a lot. Which is ok they were always together and Kelly was trying to get one of them to do something silly. Brody called up James to have him look at a fishing boat on ksl. At this point I should have know it would be a long night of them talking on the phone. James and Brody are on the phone for about 30 mins and then Kelly calls, and well they did three way calling. I didn't even know you could do three way calling on cell phones, I must be getting old. They looked at fishing boats for hours and then it went on to cars, bikes, and other guy things. They spent a total of three to four hours on the phone. I love this because it is the true meaning of friendship, which is hard to come by these days. I love them all!!!! They keep me smiling and laughing because they were so darn excited about a fishing boat. Sorry this picture is so old is was the only one I could find.

A New Life
So much has changed since January. I quit my job at the bank to go back to school. It was scary at first but I have enjoyed going to school. It has been such a long time since I have been in school but it was the right choice. I love life and I love my husband. He has been so supportive of me going back to school (well it was his idea). He spends hours with me trying to help me understand math because I believe it was created by some evil force. We have decided that I will not work for awhile and just concentrate on school. I am loving life and I am much happier now that I am not working at the bank. It is amazing when you work with people that bring you down everyday and you leave, how different life can be. James well, he doesn't ever stop, he is working and going to school. We actually get to spend more time together since I don't work and we love it. We can't wait to come home in June and see all of our friends and family.

Family Pictures
Here are some of the pictures we had taken. I know our Christmas cards were a little dark so I will post them for you to see.
Mount Rushmore
What an breath taking site. The day we went it was cold and windy, but worth going to see. James and I sat and just looked at the founders of this country wondering what they would say about the way our country is being ran today. There is a museum at the bottom of the complex were you can watch movies and look at pictures on how it was built. I will never forget the man who was wearing a flag shirt and was looking at a display and he was crying. I am sure he was crying because of all the sacrifice people made to give us such a beautiful place to visit.
Devils Tower and the Black Hills
During Labor Day James decided he needed to get away so we head up to Devils Tower in Wyoming. It is up at the very top of Wyoming. People live out in the middle of boonies. Lots of farms. I could never live out there.
The refinery
The refinery that James works at caught on fire. I am glad we got to go to a couple of concerts because he ended up working 33 days straight working 12 to 13 hour days. It was a blessing that no one got hurt. James had won tickets to Alan Jackson it was fun but sad James was not there.
Brooks & Dunn
We had the best seats for Brooks & Dunn. It was an amazing concert probably one of the best I have ever been too.
Frontier Days
Frontier Days started off with a bang last year with. Kiss was the opening act and well lets say we ended up getting to do down on ground level because they 40yr men that were sitting behinds us were drunk lol.
Kansas
James and I went to Kansas he was looking at the sister refinery in El Dorado. The town was little but cute. We meet some very nice people infact I have never meet a town so welcoming. I am gald we didn't move I didn't want to have to move half way across the country again.
