Family Pictures
Here are some of the pictures we had taken. I know our Christmas cards were a little dark so I will post them for you to see.
Mount Rushmore
What an breath taking site. The day we went it was cold and windy, but worth going to see. James and I sat and just looked at the founders of this country wondering what they would say about the way our country is being ran today. There is a museum at the bottom of the complex were you can watch movies and look at pictures on how it was built. I will never forget the man who was wearing a flag shirt and was looking at a display and he was crying. I am sure he was crying because of all the sacrifice people made to give us such a beautiful place to visit.
Devils Tower and the Black Hills
During Labor Day James decided he needed to get away so we head up to Devils Tower in Wyoming. It is up at the very top of Wyoming. People live out in the middle of boonies. Lots of farms. I could never live out there.
The refinery
The refinery that James works at caught on fire. I am glad we got to go to a couple of concerts because he ended up working 33 days straight working 12 to 13 hour days. It was a blessing that no one got hurt. James had won tickets to Alan Jackson it was fun but sad James was not there.
Brooks & Dunn
We had the best seats for Brooks & Dunn. It was an amazing concert probably one of the best I have ever been too.
Frontier Days
Frontier Days started off with a bang last year with. Kiss was the opening act and well lets say we ended up getting to do down on ground level because they 40yr men that were sitting behinds us were drunk lol.
Kansas
James and I went to Kansas he was looking at the sister refinery in El Dorado. The town was little but cute. We meet some very nice people infact I have never meet a town so welcoming. I am gald we didn't move I didn't want to have to move half way across the country again.
