Sunrise

I took this picture the other morning it was so amazing with the sun coming up. I talked with Cora today about coming home for Thanksgiving and I can't wait to see everyone. We are both homesick. You think it would go away after a year and five months. It will be a week tomorrow and I have a so much shopping to do before we come home so hopefully this week will go by fast. See you all soon.

Snow Snow and more Snow

So we live in the pit of Hell when it comes to winter we have had two really bad snow storms both of the in October one of them on my birthday. They let us go home early and I couldn't make it into work one of the days because the roads were so bad.
Please let me know if anyone can tell what that is!

The Best Birthday Ever

James and Shan had been planning a birthday surprise for me. When I got off work one Friday night James and I work talking in the kitchen and all of the sudden Shan jumped out of the computer room. I could not believe my eyes and of course I started crying. I was so happy to see my sister. Shan had made plans for us to go and see the Stanley Hotel and do the ghost tour which was great. We took Shan around Cheyenne which took about ten Min's. James surprised Shan and I with a cabin to stay in at Estes Park. James bought the Shinning and made us watch it after the ghost tour. Thanks for the best birthday ever. Love you both

Family Pictures from Labor Day

We took a quick trip home in September to see our family. Here are some of the pictures.

Flaming Gorge

We went to Flamimg Gorge in August it was fun to see the family. The weather was crappy but we still had a great time. One of the first nights we were there it was running and lighting I told James the tent was going to blow away with us in it. The tent was laying down on us the wind was blowing so hard.

James loves being a cowboy

We went to Lady Antebellum concert and it was amazing but James loves being a cowboy and being able to wear his wranglers and his boots. I think he is cute.

Frontier Days

Our friends came up from Utah for Fontier Days. We bought tickets for George Straight and it was awesome. We went horse back riding and had a blast. I think this year we are going to skip Frontier Days.

Update

I am trying to think what has happened since our computer has been broken. I will do my best to get everyone updated.

I love the mountains

I will have to take pictures so you can see where we are living. We are still in boxes and are trying to find places to put stuff. Duke are cat is having a hard time there are four dogs out here so he doesn't go outside much. We had a great time with everyone. I am counting down the days until we go on vacation again.

Riding bikes

James sleeping

James was so tired from playing with the boys for two days he tried to get a little shut eye. We had a BBQ at my dad's house on Wednesday. Kris should go to school to be a chief whatever he cooks it is so tasty.

Uncle James and the boys

The boys were so excited to see uncle James. I don't think that they let him rest for five minuets. We had a sleep over at Shan's house. Jonah slept with uncle James on the air mattress and I slept with Alex in his bed. Shan forgot to warn me Alex kicks and rolls all night in his sleep.

Baby Madi

I went to Cora's house for dinner and her husband cooked the best steaks Thanks Ryan. Baby Madi is so cute and I can't believe she will be a year old. She is such happy little girl. Even though I have been away for a year our friendship hasn't change it feels like we have not been apart and that is the best part of being best friends. I love you guys.

Grandpa and Grandma Shupe

We had Sunday dinner with the Shupe side of the family. It was great to see everyone. James had fun teasing all of the cousins and it was nice for me because I didn't get all of the teasing for once. We took some pictures of the three James Wright Shupes.

Fishing at Grandpa Shaws

James loves to fish and his grandpa has a pond in his backyard. James wanted to get the biggest fish he could so he could tell all his friends about it. It was great to spend time with Nancy's parents. Grandpa Shaw took James and I down to see the baby lambs and the horses.

Trip Home to Utah

My dad and sister told James that I need to update my blog and he is working nights so this is a way for me to be quiet and keep myself busy. I can't believe it has been a year since we have been away. We miss all of you and can't wait until we see you again. The thing we miss the most is the mountains so I will post pictures of the mountains.

Crazy Life

Well it has been a long time since I have blogged life has been crazy around here. James has been working a ton he has had one day off this month his unit is on a turnaround. He called me this morning and said he won't be home until later because they have another problem. We really haven't seen each other for the past month. I am still busy at the bank and trying to take care of the house and all the other duties that need to be done. It looks like we are going to be moving. We are trying to find a place to rent so hopefully we can buy a house this fall. I hate moving it is the worst thing ever. I will take pictures of me packing up the house and I will have to post picture of the new house when we find one:(. We had a horrible snow storm this week. Everyone shut down for the day. I only had to work a half a day so that was nice. I don't have any pictures to post so I am going to post a picture of Flaming Gorge it is my favorite place and wish we were there right now.

We had a great time in Utah and we hope to see you all soon. I will try to keep up on the blog.

Jay's Tent

Jay got a huge tent set for Christmas so we decided put it up in the house to see how it would do when we go to flaming gorge.

Me and the Boys

My camera was having issues the day of the wedding so the pictures are not great but this is one of my favorites. We miss Brody he hasn't changed any but that is the best part. It was sad when it was time for us to leave. We had a chance to see James's old boss and some of the guys he worked with. We miss you all.

The Boys

Ben got married while we were in Utah. I am glad that we could be there for his wedding. We got a chance to see all our great friends even though it was only for a day we value the time we had with them. Their wedding was beautiful with all the Christmas lights and decorations. They look so happy.

First Grand baby for Nacy and Jay

James sister Al had a baby right before Christmas. It was exciting to see her. This if a fourth generation picture.

Group Picture

Bestfriends

Aunt Laci and Uncle James

We only got to see Morgan's for a few minutes but James had not seen his niece Madi and was not going to miss getting a chance to see her. It was so good to see them we miss them a ton. I feel like Madi is growing so fast. She was such a happy baby.

Sisters

Shan and I haven't had a picture taken together for a long time so we decided to snap some.
