Hopes

I have been thinking a lot lately about becoming a mom and the hopes I have for myself.  I hope that I can be a fair mom to all my kids.  I hope that I can give them the same amount of time and attention to each and child that we have.  I will have unconditional love for all of them.  I never want my children to feel like one is loved more than the other, or one gets more attention than the other.  I hope when they have children we can do the same for their children loving them equally as the other.

A gym for pregnant women

I have decided that there should be a gym for pregnant women only.  Ugh I hate going to the gym and seeing all the beautiful skinny women.  I think more women would go if they had their own pregnant gym.

Summer

We have had a busy summer with visitors and traveling.  I am so glad that my dad came up to visit us.  I was homesick and feeling sad because my mom is not here to do the baby stuff with me.  He went to Babies R US with us.  He helped us pick out stuff for the baby and was telling James all of his secrets.  I cried for an hour after he left.  I can’t wait to see him soon.  I am looking forward to having a few weeks to get things ready for the baby and just relax with James.  We are looking forward to CFD.  This will be our last year of being able to go to everything that we want, but that is ok we are so excited for the little one to get here.  I hope everything works out and we can go to the concerts and events that we want.  We are looking forward to having some friends come up and being able to spend some time with them.
After Yellowstone we went into Jackson Hole I had never been there before.  I wish we could have spent more time there.  After Jackson, James and I went on to Cody and stayed for a few days.  We went to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.  We should have spent two days there instead of five hours.  The center has so much stuff to look at and the gun museum would have taken us a day just to go through that..

My favorite part of Yellowstone was seeing all the baby animals.  They are so dang cute.  Sorry all the pictures are blurry apparently I was so excited I could not take I could picture.

I believe this is the Lower Geyser Basin on the way back down to Old Faithful.
This is Mammoth Hot Springs.

To get to the Lower Falls we had to hike down a trail and then we had to take 354 stairs to get to the bottom of the falls.  This was a challenge for me being six months pregnant.  The stairs go straight down and up.  I am glad I tortured myself to see it.

The Upper and Lower Falls of Yellowstone were beautiful.  We hiked up and down to see both of them.  The first pictures are of the upper falls.
Right before this picture a bear walked right across the road but I only got the back side of him walking into the woods.

These are geysers around Old Faithful.

This is Old Faithful it was amazing to watch this natural wonder.

Yellowstone

James wanted to go to Yellowstone this year for vacation.  I was a little nervous being six months pregnant because I knew James would want to do a bunch of hiking.  We had a great time with Jay and Nancy we camped in the motorhome just outside of the park entrance.
I can’t believe it is June already.  We have been out of school since the first of May we were ready for school to be out.  I am sad that I won’t be going back until the spring semester, but I am so excited to become a mother.  We went home the last part of May for the only visit we will be able to do this year.  It was good to see everyone  and spend time with our families.

It has been awhile since I have blogged so I thought I would sit down and update.  We found out that we are having a baby boy.  We are so excited and cannot wait until he is here.  Everything is looking great I have only gained 4lbs.  Every time I go in and they listen to his heart they tell me he is a busy boy in there because his heart rate is so fast.  James felt him kick for the first time and the look on his face was priceless.

Baby Shupe

We are so excited to have baby Shupe come on October 1.  I cant complain about my pregnancy.  I have not thrown up once and have been able to keep up on my school work.  I cry at commercials all the time which James just laughs at me.  We find out what we are having on May 17th.  I am ready to start buying baby stuff and get ready for this little one to come.

Family Pictures

I just wanted to say thank you to Jen for taking our pictures we love them. When we went home for Thanksgiving she took time from her busy schedule to take some photos. I think I picked the coldest day in Coalville for pictures.

Family Pictures

2011

We had many ups and downs in 2011. I hope that everyone may have good health this year and that our families may be happy. James and I have been very blessed in our lives. We are so thankful for each other and all that we have. Happiness is what we have and would not change a thing. We are looking forward to what may come in 2012. James is busy with work as always and is looking forward to continuing school. I am not sure if I am ready for school or not, but it starts on Tuesday so I guess I better be ready. Sorry it took me so long to post to the blog. I hope everyone has a great year.

Flaming Gorge

Flaming Gorge

The water skiing at the Gorge this year rocked. Thanks to my father-in-laws patience with me I got up and stayed up this year. The weather was beautiful and only a few storms.

Tuff Hedeman

We went to CBR and watched the bull riding we had awesome seats and sat by our friends. After it was over we had our pictures taken with Tuff. It was amazing to stand next to him after reading and watching him. James well he had a hard time getting one with my eyes not closed, but I will still post it anyways. We always cheer for the Utah boys Wesley Silcox and Steve Woolsey. We talked to Wes after the CBR.

CFD

During CFD we had a great time. We saw the Zac Brown Band they put on a amazing show. Their opening band was called Blackberry Smoke they were straight out of the 70's. James was so jealous of their sideburns.

Summer Time Fun

Since school is about to start I better get some post on this blog. James took me on a hike to show me where he shot his elk at. We hiked about six miles and saw beautiful mountains, trees, and no wildlife.
